Sudarushka Russian Dance Ensemble

Sudarushka Russian Dance Ensemble extends an invitation to join us on Thursday evenings at 6.00pm for fun filled introduction, keeping fit by experiencing the joys of Russian-style character (folkloric) dance. Sudarushka Ensemble is a friendly and welcoming folkloric dance ensemble, and it meets weekly at Russian House, 118 Greeves Street, Fitzroy for classes, rehearsals and socializing. The classes are run by the professional choreographer and dancer Luba Baksheev. The group is perfect for all ages, whether you are in your thirties or of mature age. Classes are organised to benefit you physically, improving your cardio health, as well as coordination between body movement and mind.

No matter what your nationality, Sudarushka Russian Dance Ensemble sets a perfect global example of how different cultures can come together, creatively, in perfect harmony through dance, music and social integration.
