Sunduchok

With increasing Russian migrants coming to Melbourne there is need to support parents having children. Sunduchok fulfils that need for infants not yet ready to begin school. The organisation runs support events: children’s activities are organised, and parents are supported. Sunduchok works with new parents, organising mothers and fathers groups, as a support network for those struggling with responsibilities in a new environment. 

This is complemented by events such as Mothers’ day and Fathers’ Day, extending the work of the organisation into the social sphere, knowing that support networks are one of the biggest sources of strength for disadvantaged people.
