Community Grants

Community Development activity at the Russian Ethnic Representative Council (RERC) of Victoria is funded through a mixture of government and non-government grants. As the representative body of the Russian community, we strengthen and build its capacity. We apply for, run and acquit for grants from government bodies from federal, state and local government that contribute to Community Development, as well as non-government bodies that support Community Development.

Depending on projects for which we receive grants and the various needs of the Russian community, we run community development projects which include the following:

• Multicultural festivals and events
• Building capacity in Russian community organisations
• Building capacity between member organisations
• Volunteer projects
• Networking between the Russian community and broader community
