In 2010, an international literary contest named “Faces of Russia” will be hosted especially for children and youth.

The main purpose of the contest is to revive the forgotten history of great people of Russia and modern Russia today – about their lives and harships. We believe that the competition is necessary so that our youth do not forgot their native origins and its rish history.

The competition is held with the blessing of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Kirill, with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Politics, Fund for Public Diplomacy, the International Council of Russian Compatriots and other prominent organizations and individuals.

Organizer of the competition – the Russian Noble Assembly, the Synodal Department for Church and Public Relations of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Compound Moscow and All Russia Signs Temple of the God Mother.
